why don't you try building up a filter assembly circuit around a
Murata ceramic filter.  The Muratas come in a variety of 455 kc
passbands and in small 5 pin packages for a few dollars each from
Mouser.
three pins in a row are grounded; the other two are for signal.  the
one on the plate of the driving stage should have a blocking cap on
it.  You can put one on a small breadboard with appropriate impedance
loading resistors to ground on the input and output.
