For example-  Yesterday, I got so excited at how well this 
cobbled-up thing was working, I started wondering: "Wow!  I 
wonder how this would do if I subbed the 12SK7 Second IF in an 
ARC-5?"
I got my receiver test rack and harness down, plugged in an 
R-27and began to pull the tube when it suddenly dawned on me.... 
the ARC-5 ain't got no 455 KC IF.
DOH!!!
