I would just keep using them but very easy to replace with solid state equivalent.  I would simply use any suitable tube base (I believe the 6X5 is octal) and build my SS equivalent on that base. Pair of 1N4007's plus a series dropping resistor (both to control peak charging currents into the filter caps and to drop the output voltage some to approximate the 20 or so volt drop in the 6X5) and you get increased reliability and save on filament power.  Win-win.
