[Boatanchors] Ideas for 7 pin and 9 pin miniature plug in modules

For octals, I find old ice-cube relays with octal plugs in the boxes under
the table as swap meets or flea markets.  They have a nice clear plastic
case to cover the circuit and then you can use perf/prototype board which
is readily available.
