Okay I understand.  Yes, I think Leo bought up gobs of surplus parts
and built rigs around them, hence some of the nowadays oddball tubes.

I know most hams hate the iron vane meters but in the little novice CW
rigs I think they are fun, maybe because measurement isn't as big a
deal.
