You just need to make friends with someone in the auction area who is
headed to the Dayton hamfest, and then someone from your area who is also
going to Dayton (boatanchor trans-shipment central)..

Speaking of which, is anyone from the San Francisco area heading to Dayton
and could haul a gadget about the size/weight of a DX-100??
I'll be happy to help pay your gasoline expenses.
