In preparation for a pending cross country move, I’ve concluded I’m going to have to try to part with more of the heavier parts of my BA receiver collection than I had originally hoped.

1. Collins R-390. $1650. This radio was completely “remanufactured" by Rick Mish (Miltronix). Its working and physical condition are excellent. You would be hard pressed to find another R-390 in as nice condition. The tube pullers are missing, but a set of reproduction tools is included. Photos at https://flic.kr/s/aHskaR7YFq

2. Hammarlund SP-600JX-17. $750. Restored to beautiful physical and working condition and in the correct cabinet. Early pics of this specific radio still show up on some web sites, and it was “immortalized” some years ago on a T-Shirt by Dave Merrill. T-Shirts (new/unused L/XL) included :) Photos at https://www.flickr.com/gp/65624854@N08/E06St8

3. Hammarlund PRO-310. $725. Fully restored electrically and mechanically. Only about 1000 of these made and they are almost impossible to find with the unique mechanical main dial and band spread tuning mechanism restored and working properly. Some marks and precious owner’s touchups on the cabinet, but I decided not to have it repainted because of the risk of damaging the chassis diagram on the inside of the top cover. 4. SX-115. $875. All of the troublesome selectivity switching caps replaced. Works great. Some marks on the case/lid, but it’s a great looking and working radio. Photos at https://flic.kr/s/aHskkAFMWu

These radios are for local pickup ONLY in the D/FW area (about midway between DFW and Denton). I can also deliver to Belton on October 2/3. If you’re interested, drop me a note and I’ll send you my mobile number.
