She knows better than that! Actually, I have to go with her to haul the set home. She just purchased a new LED 55-inch set less than a month ago. The flat screen TV, in the master bedroom, acquired a "flaky" off/on function. So, she wanted the TV, from the den, to replace the TV in the master bedroom and a new, larger screen, for the den!
Having been married for just over 50-years, I long since learned what battles need to be fought and when to just let her have her way!
She collects clocks and watches. There are almost 50-clocks in her collection that need to have the time changed for the start, and end, of daylight saving time. She changes the time on the clock on the nightstand and I get to change the remainder of them! However, she doesn't complain about all my amateur radios, my antique/vintage radio collection, my Civil War collection, etc. So, an hour, or so, twice a year, to reset the clocks, is worth it!
Besides, a new, relatively inexpensive, novelty clock, makes for easy Christmas and birthday presents! Glen, K9STH Website: http://k9sth.net
