Amazon.com has a good selection of 12 and 24 hour clocks in both analog
and digital formats. Most of them run on one or two AA or C cells, and
will typically run for 1 to 2 years on a battery. If changing
batteries bugs you, you could rig up a small power supply, possibly from
a re-purposed "wall wart".
