I agree with Glen. Last year I was using mine for a small job. I
released the trigger and placed it on the bench. Problem was the switch
still had contact. After a period of time, something made me aware that
the gun was still on. I unplugged it & let it cool down (really hot).
The black plastic case was deformed.
Also, the way the switch works is kinda opposite to the way many think.
If you squeeze the switch all the way in, that gives you the low heat.
To get the high heat, you have to let the trigger out a bit but not too
far or the gun will shut off. Other than that, it works ok.
One last thought, if you need more heat than the gun provides, try
pre-heating the work with a hot air gun - Harbor Freight :-)
