Refurbishing a BC-348-O. The original RCA991 neon voltage regulator
didn't strike. Found a GE version that did, but still intermittent with my
new power supply (which has large electrolytics so takes a few seconds
to come up to full voltage).

Finally located the dropper resistors (57 and 44 in the parts list). These
are on the rear left PCB (under the dyno well). Resistor 57 should be 27k;
it had drifted upward of 150k!. Replaced this and the RCA neon is happy.
