I use the 2-part "quick drying" type of epoxy to repair this.  Others use the longer drying epoxy. Glen, K9STH Website: http://k9sth.net

 Subject: [Boatanchors] Question...

I'm cleaning up my Elmac AF-68A and was putting the 6146 into a tube socket extender, and the key plastic stud broke off.  The glass bottle is still intact.  Here are my questions for those of you who know what they are doing:
1. Is this repairable?2. If so, I assume some sort of glue/epoxy..  would be needed.3. In my bench I have:  J-B Weld, Locktite epoxy - marine (I think this is for fiberglass), Elmer's wood glue and Testor's for plastic model planes.4. Will any of these be the right one?5. If not, what do I get?
Thanks!73,JohnK5ENQ
