I have a quick question on cleaning and lubricating the moving coil assembly.
At the rear is a long cylinder on which the coil assembly moves. I assume that this cylinder should be cleaned and lightly lubed. Am I correct? Mine feels like it has dried lube on it, although it could also be nicotine residue.
I picked this set up at a hamfest earlier this year and it works very well. I got very lucky at another hamfest last weekend and found the matching speaker.
