Another suggestion is to simply give Surplus Sales of Nebraska call and order their wonderful Collins 
spray paint, already mixed and packages in a convenient spray can.

I use their paint on a regular basis with superior results.

Probably not!
Towards the end of production of the S-Line, Collins went to plastic trim rings instead of the older painted metal trim rings.  Unfortunately, over the years, a significant number of the plastic trim rings have gone various shades of yellow.
Sometimes, the yellow can be reversed by chemical treatments including hydrogen-peroxide.  Otherwise, the "fix" is just to paint the trim ring the proper color.  The formula for the paint is found in the following article:
