Hi Dave,

The meter face is bright white and so is the front panel lettering. The 
lettering could easily be repainted - at least easy compared to redoing 
that meter face. That bezel around the front edge is the color of smoke 
stains but maybe that's just the paint. The silver plated connectors in 
the back show some oxidation. The chassis (what we can see of it) looks 
clean.

I have some smoke stained gear here and the white lettering isn't really 
all that easy to clean. The dark stains come off but the letters are 
permanently 'off white'.
