If you are using guy wires you do not need a multi cubic foot concrete base for your tower. However if you are using a freestanding tower with no guy wires it needs a very large base.
It is very easy to consult the manufacturers specifications and find out exactly what you need for the part of the country that you live in to survive the rated wind storms etc. Look up TI – 222 for the specifications.
