Yes, I indeed "meant" MalwareBytes. I have their Pro version.
The MBAR, (Anti-Rootkit), and Chameleon are separate free downloads.
The "Slow Running Scripts" issue is one caused by Javascripts. I added
"NOSCRIPT" to my browsers. This way I control what scripts get run, or
"allow" to run.
Java is a BIG security hole. It sends and receives cookies to about
every outfit that collects information.
I have a much smaller slow down using NOSCRIPT, and don't get all the
crud that comes with allowing Javascripts to run herd on my machines.
