MalawareBytes even blocks an outbound attempt to connect to a 
site/address that is "suspect".

The Malaware Anti-Rootkit, and Chameleon are run on it also.

MalawareBytes is updated a minimum of daily, and Malaware Anti-Rootkit 
is updated on each scan.

That machine is more "abused", yet the tools I use keep it from being 
"over run' with little nasties.

Don't "even" obtain Paretologic Reg Cure Pro!  It does more damage than 
it resolves!
