Good advice Mac.

Power Sonic has some great literature. If one wants to go further down the rabbit hole with respect to batteries, I suggest going to www.batteryuniversity.com. Isidor Buchmann wrote the book "batteries in a portable world" and I believe is behind the website. I have no connection to either, other than owning the paperback purchased from another ham on eBay, though still available at Amazon. I learned more about batteries than I thought I could, though some parts are heavy reading. Lots of fantastic information, especially for the newer types of batteries. Believe it or not lead acid batteries still do yeoman's work.

All my very best,
