I wonder if this is correct. The base connections for
the 6HS6 are identical to the 6AU6, for that tube the
selectors are set for ET1-5672, is it possible the above is
a typo?
It would be interesting to know the source since the
6HS6 does not seem to be in any of the tube data up-dates
for the TV-7.
The 6HS6 is similar to the 6AU6, a sharp cut-off
pentode but with about double the Gm, 9500 uMho vs about
4500 uMho for the 6AU6. I was able to get reasonable tests
on the TV-6D/U by setting up for a 6AU6 and increasing the
bias to reduce the reading to about half. A 6HS6 then read
about right but it would be nice to have some authoritative
settings for it.
