I always assume these listings are done by estate flippers who scarf
up hundreds, maybe thousands of items at estate sales, have no idea
what they are dealing with, but pay some kid to search and find the
highest ever selling price and _start_ the bidding at that amount. At
any time they may have hundreds of items listed all over the place,
listing costs them nothing and when one expires they re-list and
forget about it. I've seen gear with no chance of ever selling,
sitting out there getting re-listed for a couple of years.
These "zombie listings" are irritating because they clutter up search
results and you'd think the sellers would wise up but they don't.
