[Boatanchors] TV7D/U - Here's what your missing

Well, it happens.  Tom Gordon and I (only ones at the time to have them in 
quantity) had been selling FT-501's (A-Battery adaptor for the BC-611) at 
IIRC $22.50 for several years.  A local friend and BC-611 owner had been over 
at my place buying a few parts one morning.  Shortly after he got home, he 
either called or sent me an email telling me to go look at Item # so and so.  
Someone had just sold one for something like $145, and it had several 
bidders at over $100.  I got out my camera, took some photos, wrote some ads 
(there are several variants) and by bed time had sold three, starting at about 
$120.  When I sold out about a week later, price was down to $60 something.

FWIW, price for working TV-7's has typically been at least $120 or so since 
the 1980's.  If you paid less, you got a bargain.
