Agree and BB transformers can usually be found for close to free, if
you are not in a rush. I got a 5 KVA (41A at 120V) for $25 that was from
a building being demolished in the city I live in. Bigger then I
wanted but the price did it, it even came with about 20 feet of THHN,
watertight condut whips, etc. and a lot of sheetrock dust. There is a
1.5 KVA one on Craigslist for $35 in same city.
Just keep looking and ask around,
