Very interesting reading, even though written for high power apps. The
basic principles still apply.
Also interesting were the findings of significant shortened tube life
from repeated "on and off" cycles. Seems to indicate if you operate
your amplifier daily, leave it on. Better yet, slightly reduce the
filament voltage during standby.
