I just picked up one of those rat shack multimeters (they actually had one in the store!) and it seems to be working fine. Actually the built-in minimum/maximum storage capability is enough for my needs, I can do without the computer storage capability for now at least.
Monitoring the voltage for the last three hours shows a minimum of 115.3 and a maximum of 120.0. I plan to let it run for 24 hours and see what I get.

I think the op is looking for logging capability. Unless I missed it, I didn't see that in the datasheet of that panel meter.
I have that radio shack multimeter. It is quite nice as meters go. I haven't played with the PC interface. My unit came with a USB cable and software that will do the logging. As I said, I haven't tried that yet, but I am sure it would be fine for the OP.
