Pete's correct. Here in Florida, driving while texting has become an epidemic, never mind walking and texting!

Much easier to deal with than FB. You can do anything with it that you wish without having to deal with ever changing FB rules and exposures. If you find it more difficult to create a web site than keep up with FB you are a good candidate for the FB social media experience. If you decide to go with FB, bless you and I respect your decision --- I?ll be here.I will continue with my web site and the lists. I have found people who spend too much time at the keyboard loose the ability to be courteous and human over time.Regards Jim------------------------------Message: 4Date: Mon, 14 Dec 2015 13:20:20 -0600From: Grant Youngman To: rbethman Cc: boatanchors at mailman.qth.netSubject: Re: [Boatanchors] All Good ThingsMessage-ID: <2688AE7C-F9CA-4B77-BF07-912C24719855 at tx.rr.com>Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-asciiMethinks some of you just didn't bother to open the settings and security tabs. You can keep the morons out. You can control who's posts you see. You don't have to get notifications. FB Groups can be restricted and even "private" (invitation only). You don't have to share your life history. You can be SELECTIVE. I don't see FB ever as a replacement for a moderated reflector. But it isn't the root of all evil, deserving of hell fire and damnation, either. It does take knowing how to use it -- which is a lot easier than getting all 47 pieces of software doing some esoteric digital mode and fully automatic contesting/logging running with a radio-on-a-chip-peripheral plugged into a shiny new laptop driving 4 screens.
