I'd be perfectly happy if the world went back to the tech. status quo
circa 1980.

I estimate it would take me around 48 hours to re-adjust.  I'd just
have to go to a used office supply store and buy a Selectric and I'd
be ready.  Then I'd sit back and watch the gadget addicts pissing and
moaning.
