Joe, do you mean flux paste or actual solder paste?

If you meant flux, you can take a look here, this is a decent summary of 
types and uses:

I suspect that unless you have really tough corrosion that any RMA flux 
will work fine.

Solder paste is a whole 'nother ball game.
