Wayne, Et al,

Her parents listen to all sorts of music as it is.

My daughter listens to some that I wouldn't recommend for my granddaughter.

Regarding Internet access. The youngster does use it.

However, it is strictly limited in what she gets access to! Her mother
is no fool!

Therefore I am less concerned about that arena.

I taught her how to look up scientific facts regarding animals, how
aircraft fly, and things along that line.

I also made a point of teaching her the use of the Dictionary.

She'd ask what some word meant, and I would say, "Go get the book.".

We don't treat her as a simple child. We have treated her as the
intellectual person that she is!

The concept put out today regarding strangers, "Drop to ground, yell
"Dial 911" and "Stranger Danger", didn't work with her.

Her response was, "You taught me not to have temper tantrums. That *is*
one."

So how do you un-ring a bell that has already been rung?

She is an adult in a child's body! There is no way around it!

There are far worse demons that she will face in life. Whom can shield
anyone from them all?

Regards, Bob - N0DGN

There's something special about being able to hear those faraway stations with something that is so simply made. The more complex the project, the less surprising the results. "Well, of course, you can hear voices halfway around the world, Grandpa, I do it on the Internet all the time."
