The major difference is that where she lives, I cannot use an outdoor 
antenna.

The antenna will be enameled wire wound around a Vertical section of 
PVC, with legs to stand it upright.

On one of the legs will be the air variable to tune the antenna.

That will then feed the Galena detector located on the right front 
corner where this picture has the antenna clip and the 1N34.

Way at the rear is where the earphone will connect.

Ground will have to connect to the copper plumbing inside their apartment.
