There are many fine papers manufactured today (but typically you don't
find them in your local office supply store) that will outlast the papers
made and used back in the 20th century at least up to the 90's. Of course
you could go back and start scribing your information on plates of stone.

I still have one machine here that will read 360K, Quad, and 720K
floppies.
