It appears that the BC-610 has definitely been modified.

Note the Modulation Deck, (Middle one.), I do not recognize the tubes 
being used.

I've *never* seen or owned one that uses any tube for modulation other 
than 100THs.

Those certainly are not!

I certainly would not give that price for something that has unknown 
modifications.

YMMV, and it is just My $0.02 worth.
