I had one of these things years ago. EL-86 spares were very difficult to
come by. 10 and 15 meters were very flaky to tune. I think it had some
weird issue on 75 meters but don't recall what it was. Finally took the
thing to Dayton. Tagged it with a "Please take me away" sign on it. No
loss and no remorse.
