A number of vendors prefer "private listings" but with the anonymous
bidding process that's now employed, it's probably not necessary today.
Roughly, 50% of the bids shown are automatic bids with 7 bidders. For the
first several days, if fairly obvious that it looks like two bidders were
playing a game. Knowing the seller for over 20 years, I'm sure he is not
evolved in "shill bidding". He is probably one of the fairest and honest
people I have ever known.
