[Boatanchors] wire labeling

I use a WORD template to print two line descriptions sideways on plain
paper.
Each label is about a 1/2 inch in width and a bit longer in length.

Full descriptions, matching the device label, are used i.e.. "75S-3B audio
out" or "OMNI-VI Key IN"
The font size is adjusted to fit.

The labels are printed, cut to size, wrapped around the cable or connector
(with small cables) and taped to hold.

I also label the plug ends of the power cords. This is helpful when
crawling under the desk.

I have used Avery labels: Get the size you want then go to www.avery.com
and download Avery Wizard. It's free and then overcoat your label, once
it's on the wire with clear tape.
I also use the labeling machines such as Brother and fold it over to
make a "tab".
