Is anyone aware of an issue with the on-line HQ-145 schematic not matching
the wiring, specifically around V4?

Are you looking at a 145 or 145X schematic? Although the features are
minimal, there are differences in the schematics.
Can you be a little more specific in the wiring differences.
Manufacturers and management(many of whom were amateurs) back in the
"good old days" were well known for tweaking circuits on the fly and then
rolling them into production without ever issuing addenda or a revised
schematic.

And there also were the 145A and 145XA! Don't know if they were all that different. I bought a 145X new in 1971. Wish I still had it. It was a great receiver.

Hi Gang:
I have a nice clean ELMENCO fused AC plug as used on E F Johnson, HEATH and many
other 1950s equipment, I have no use for it. Anyone want it for a restoration
project? If interested please reply by email.
