I had a VHF-UHF surveillance receiver that was made by CEI and modified 
in the same way by LTV Temco.   The front panel was painted plexiglass 
that was backlit and it had the same kind of goofy knobs, similar to 
those that can be seen here:

If anyone has a picture of the G133F (or other Temco units) I'm sure 
Terry O would be pleased to add them to his site.
