The optional BALUN sold for around $40. New, the SA-2500 listed for
around $800. At the end of it's life cycle, they dumped them out for
around $350. For $800, and not including the BALUN, really didn't make
any sense. In looking at the circuitry, some receiver designs weren't as
complicated as this thing.
