Tom,
Look for those made by T&B, (Thomas & Betts) connectors. They are not
aluminum, but are tinned copper.
I've been using their kits since the '70s. I just procure additional
connectors as needed.
Try Grainger. The professional electrical folks have gone away from
Aluminum since the Aluminum cable issues were studied and found to cause
issues. They no longer fiddle with "AlNox" compounds, and Aluminum
wiring has been banned in almost every "Code" published in quite awhile.
The year 2004 pretty well did away with a bunch of these issues since
the building codes adopted the International Codes.

It seems to me that most spade connectors are made of a softer metal (aluminum maybe) but the connectors on appliances seem to be of a higher grade (harder metal) to sustain exposure to higher temperatures. Can someone point me in the right direction as to the type of connector and where I might source a few of them? I have plenty of standard run of the mill spades but need to know what to look for outside the run of the mill realm.
