Wayne, thanks for letting us know. I pulled out my low pass filter (it
was not built for AM) and scrapped it for parts around 4 years ago when TV
went digital. Have had no complaints from anyone. I see LP filters going
unsold at hamfests. I have a friend with a beautiful Collins filter, made
for the KW1, full of silver plate coils and doorknobs and he can't give it
away.
the tables have turned on RFI in my opinion. I bet I suffer far more from
consumer appliance RFI than what I inflict on others. And, my station is
legal and according to part 15, they are not. I used to be sympathetic but
I have gotten to where if anyone ever p and m to me about RFI I'll tell
them to cry me a river.
