Put your original 2.2 ohm grid current shunt from fil center tap to ground
and the 390 ohm meter multiplier to the meter switch. Other side of meter
circuit goes to ground.
The plate current meter shunt is lifted from ground and goes to the top of
the 2.2 ohm grid shunt. This should lift the B- from ground and connect to
the center tap of the fil transformer. Now remove the other side of the
plate current meter lead on the switch that goes to ground and connect it to
the bottom of the plate meter shunt where it connects to the top of the grid
meter shunt.
When you have this place a large diode (1n5408) cathode to the top of the
grid meter shunt and anode to ground for a safety device. It is also a good
idea to place back to back diodes across the grid meter shunt for safety.
