Years ago there was mention of moving it to the Ohio State Fairgrounds 
in Columbus. I was at Dayton every year from 1968 to about 1994. I 
always went mainly for the flea market so I wanted to park as close as 
possible. My habit was to leave home around midnight Saturday to arrive 
before the 0600 opening and park almost at the entrance. Then they 
stopped allowing parking at the site at all and the hamvention was much 
less enjoyable for me. Around 1995 my work became too complex to allow 
being out of town that long so Dayton faded into my past. Lost my job in 
2001 so can't afford it anyway.
