The one thing I cannot come to grips with, is the fact that Shell Oil is 
working in Brazil to use switchgrass to make ethanol.

Why in the world are WE still using corn?

George W. Bush wanted to do just that!  Why are we exporting oil to Brazil?

That alone would drop prices of foodstuffs and *many* other things!
