Guys- I saw a score of valiants from 150-300 dollars - 200 dollar rangers - a dozen hallicrafters and an equal number of national receivers all very reasonably priced at NEARFEST this past weekend
Why would anyone buy on eBay ?? It's like shooting yourself on the foot isn't bit?
Support your local hamfests - if you don't you'll just feed the ebayers who are making a handsome living selling boat anchors way over value
And why would you give up your radios in fear the xyl will have too Much to dispose of? You have no trusted ham friends to do what you should already be doing for your SK friends?
Greed is just rampant as is hoarding - I've yet to
Meet the guy with a house and barn full of hulks who got rich selling them
Let's preserve and enjoy the ham radio we love- encouage a young hams by having some charity and fraternity in our hearts!
Didn't someone help you with an s40 or a globe chief back in the day ???
How many transmitters and receivers are you sitting on that you'll never use ?

Sellers put boatanchors on there for for example routinely at 3-4 times the price most people would pay and just relist them over and over again hoping some sucker will come along and just have to have that radio. I look through just about every day and can usually tell who the seller is on ridiculously over priced items, gets so I don't even look at those certain auctions. There should be a limit on the amount of times a seller can relist an item to get the glut off.
