I recently saw an interesting Navy item listed at $950. I wrote and explained why it wasn't worth that but more like $95. He said OK and changed it and I bought it. Of course not all sellers are so friendly and rational. Some are merely waiting until a movie prop buyer or interior designer comes along. For those buyers, price doesn't mean much but instant availability does. YMMV.

Sellers put boatanchors on there for for example routinely at 3-4 times the price most people would pay and just relist them over and over again hoping some sucker will come along and just have to have that radio....
