My Novice receiver was an S-120.
Traded a Navaho CB for it.  I could hear the whole 40 Mtr
Novice band at once.  I made lots of contacts and had
a ball with that old "play-like-radio."
It was one of the first radios I ever fixed, too.
The Glowbar resistor went out and I "jury-rigged"
around it until Ronnie Hull- then WB5AIA,
now W5SUM, found me a replacement.
I was 14.  Good times.
