[Boatanchors] SDR unit

I am not sure that today those boards are meant to be repaired. About the
only people I have seen since the mid 90s who use rework stations are the
manufacturers who are prototyping boards and components. When you think of
the double layer and triple layer boards, they are just throw away and
replace. If you want some real frustration, work on one of them. Sadly we
live in a throw away world where only manufacturers can afford the equipment
to repair individual boards.

I agree keep boatanchors around to teach the logic of repair and
understanding of circuits.

That is the rub,
Not many of us have hundreds of bucks we can spare
to buy a hot air, surface-mount rework station and
all the other fiddle-dee-dee needed to work
on these surface-mount boards.
