Joe, Hammond makes a universal replacement which would have low a impedance secondary winding to drivr the speaker directly.  Peter Dahl makes an exact replacement for the SX-28 output transformer; this uses p-p 6V6's and has high impedance secondaries as does the transformer for the SX-25.
