Joe,

Of course, you've swapped the output tubes left to right.

1) Use a scope or an AC meter to make sure you're getting audio dive to 
both 6V6 signal grids.
2) Carefully measure the resistance of both sides of the audio output 
transformer primary. I'm thinking shorted turns.
