[Boatanchors] Yaesu VXR5000 repeater problem

Hello;

      We have a local 2m repeater here in Seoul, Korea and it started show the following problem.

It intermittently transmits with a lot of noise for about half an hour even when there is no incoming signal.

Then suddenly the transmission stops and once in a few days it does the same thing again.

It is programmed to transmit no noise during hang time and also requires 88.5Hz tone to activate it.

I adjusted VR4001(squelch) but still it does the same thing.

Does someone have experience with this kind of problem with VXR5000?
